Get To Know The Faithful Girls

This will be a hard blog post to keep short because my love for the Faithful Events team runs deep. As a business owner, I am grateful for the women who play a role in the Faithful Events Company’s magic.

Valerie Moutinho

Valerie Moutinho’s and my relationship began at the Taylor Wedding in 2021 as I transported a cake up three flights of stairs. Little did she know that the Taylor wedding was our company’s first wedding and when she approached me to inquire about a potential internship, I still had no firm grasp on how to run a business. Flash forward almost two years later, and she is my right-hand girl in everything I do. Not only has she taken on the role of Lead Planner, but she has also elevated our social media presence in ways I could only dream of. Valerie is beloved and is only getting started!

Peta Trenary

To know this woman is to love her. She is the Lorelai to my Rory Gilmore, who without, I would be lost. My mother has instilled in me a work ethic, empathy, and love that only comes from God. The amount of behind-the-scenes work this woman does for our clients is remarkable. We dream of one day creating an all-inclusive experience for our clients in which she will head, but until then, she is our go-to wedding day assistant and brings a sense of peace to each wedding day that no one can replicate.

Kayla Farris

A bride-turned-coordinator! I fell instantly in love with Kayla Farris’ spirit when she became one of our clients in 2022. Our team planned her & Isaac’s wedding day and the rest is history. It takes so much more than an organized personality to be a Wedding Planner and our Kayla Farris embodies everything it takes to make sure that our clients experience peace & joy throughout their wedding planning experience. I cannot wait to see her tackle 2023 and beyond as a Faithful Events Company Coordinator.

Destinie Wilson

Our team would not be the same without the heart & humor of Destinie Wilson. Watching her take the wedding industry by storm this past year has been such a blessing. She dreams of owning a bridal shop one day and is currently a consultant at Chantilly Bridal. She serves our clients as a wedding day assistant who cares about each wedding day as if it were her own. We adore cheering her on as she accomplishes her career goals via Faithful Events Company & Chantilly Bridal!

Mikaela Garrison

Hello hello! My name is Mikaela Garrison, the author of this blog post as well as the owner & CEO of Faithful Events Company. For the past three years, I have cultivated a culture & company that (I pray) honors God, my team, our clients, and the vendors we work alongside. It is my joy to serve our incredible city and I look forward to one day owning & operating a venue in the heart of it (alongside my husband).
